  1. Data Controller

The person responsible for processing personal data is ENI called CLÁUDIO MENDES DA SILVA GINJA, with registered office at Rua Mina de Lenhite, Lote 9, nº60, 3º Frente Direito, Marrazes, 2415-524 Leiria, natural person number 182371913 (hereinafter Cláudio Mendes Da Silva Ginja or E-REB | Soluções de mobilidade elétrica).

E-REB is an e-shop that sells products for Electric Vehicle Charging, among others, such as the import and sale of electric micro cars, as well as car rental, which can be accessed via the domain www.e-reb.pt .

Our data collection and processing complies with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016.

  1. Data subjects’ rights – Data subjects have the right to:
  • Information – E-REB data subjects have the right to be informed about the data we collect and how we process it. This information is included in this privacy policy;
  • Access – E-REB data subjects have the right to access their personal data. Personal data can be accessed by logging in to the customer area of our store, entering the username and password chosen when registering with our store;
  • Rectification, erasure, limitation or portability – the E-REB data subject has the right to request the rectification, erasure, limitation of processing and portability of their personal data, upon request by email addressed to E-REB, and on a case-by-case basis, according to the category of data in question.
  • Notification – the E-REB data subject has the duty to be notified of data processing, whenever it occurs in situations not provided for in this policy;
  • Automated processing – E-REB’s data subjects have the right to have decisions taken on the basis of “automated processing” which concern them or significantly affect them and which are based on their personal data taken by natural persons and not just by computers. You also have the right, in this case, to express your point of view and challenge the decision.
  • Right to complain – the E-REB data subject has the right to complain about the way their data is processed to the E-REB Data Controller identified above in the first instance or to the National Data Protection Commission (www.cnpd.pt) in the second instance.

The categories of data collected by E-REB are:

  • Data for invoicing;
  • Contact details;
  • Data for sending goods;
  • Newsletter details;
  1. Data collection and purpose

The data we collect through our store is entered by the customer at the time of purchase.

  • Billing data is collected for the purpose of carrying out the commercial transaction and, accordingly, issuing a legal billing document on behalf of the client;
  • Contact details are collected for the purpose of communicating with the customer in the pre-purchase and post-purchase period, as well as in the event of future technical assistance, returns or complaints;
  • The data for the shipment of goods is collected to enable the shipment of goods, whenever the address in question is different from the address used for invoicing;
  • Newsletter data is collected for the purpose of sending commercial information to the customer;
  1. Data processing

Data processing takes place after the customer has requested a purchase (billing, contact and shipping data categories), or after subscribing to our newsletter (newsletter data category);

  1. Treatment safety

The data collected is stored in a database in the E-REB store software. Access to the store’s administration panel, access to the hosting control panel and access to the database manager are equipped with high-security passwords.

The accommodation has an up-to-date security certificate installed.

Hosting is backed up daily for redundancy purposes and fortnightly for system replacement purposes.

Locally, the data is stored in Rentelectricbarosa’s IT department located at our head office. The computer is equipped with a password for access and resumption after inactivity, a firewall and an antivirus program. This computer is periodically backed up to an external hard disk.

The management and invoicing software where the data is entered is configured with access levels, and only the company manager is allowed to change or delete any customer data. Access to the software in question is individual and by password.

  1. Data Transmission

In some product categories and/or brands, we may transmit customer identification data (Billing Data category) to manufacturers and/or representatives for product warranty purposes.

Under no circumstances will data be passed on to third parties.

  1. Data Retention

We keep the data for the periods mentioned below:

  • Billing data is stored indefinitely in our billing software;
  • Contact details are kept for up to 3 years after the end of the warranties on the equipment sold;
  • Data for shipment of goods is kept for up to 3 years after the last shipment of goods;
  • Newsletter data is kept permanently unless the customer requests that it be deleted.
  1. Updates

Our privacy policy may be changed without prior notice and is immediately updated in the Privacy Policy link in the footer of our store, so you should check the latest version each time you access our store and/or make a purchase at .

Present changes do not affect purchases and/or other business relationships made in the past or in progress.
